I am a socially engaged photographer, which just means that I like to work with people in an equal and collaborative manner to try and share a story. I have just finished a project with a care home in St Helens, (which won an award in Liverpool! And was displayed in the Open Eye Gallery from November 25 to January 26.) Now I am hoping to work with any residents of the building I live in, to explore together the different characters and cultures who share very similar apartments. I think it will be a great way to meet some neighbours and see how we all make our space a part of ourselves, even if those spaces are identical before we get there.
